Telford Shopping Centre Commended for £300k Charity Support
The team at Telford Shopping Centre has secured the highest acclaim for their work with charities in the local community, as part of the Telford Pulling Together Project.
Presented with a Gold Business Community Award by Telford and Wrekin CVS, the shopping centre has been recognised for its time volunteered to charities, donations and gifts in kind. The total monetary value of the support over a 12 month period has totalled an incredible £306,538.
Throughout the year, Telford Shopping Centre has worked with The Rotary Club, The Samaritans, Severn Hospice and Midlands Air Ambulance amongst many others dedicating time and commitment to benefit the community and improve the lives of people living in Telford.
Tracy Hadley, Marketing and Events Manager at Telford Shopping Centre, said: “We are committed to giving something back to Telford and the local community in which we live and work. Corporate social responsibility is part of everything we do. Participating in the Telford Pulling Together project enabled us to progress as a business whilst also encouraging sustainable development within the Borough of Telford and Wrekin.”

Telford and Wrekin CVS supports voluntary groups and charities in the borough. The Telford Pulling Together project helps businesses to connect with relevant charities to provide much-needed support.
