Pirate adventures set to wash up in Telford Centre

Telford Shopping Centre is promising a host of pirate themed activities to entertain visitors over the next two weeks.

A unique installation will surprise shoppers in Sherwood Square from this Saturday (22nd July), with centre bosses remaining tight-lipped about the exact details until the big reveal.

Katie Broome, marketing manager, said: “Every year we aim to bring something special to open the summer holidays, and this year is set to be the most exciting yet.

“On Saturday morning, something big will have washed up in the Centre, with live entertainment planned throughout the weekend.

“There will also be a great Facebook selfie opportunity planned for New Row and a sea-themed surprise in Dean Square later in the week, so plenty to delight visitors as they go around the Centre.

“We also have a treasure trail around the centre, with golden coins spelling out a key word to win a treasure haul of toys, games and a £50 Telford Centre gift card.”

Visitors can pick up a competition entry leaflet from Customer Services. The closing date for the competition is Sunday 6th August 2017.

Free activities for children are planned in Sherwood Square every weekday for the next two weeks, from 24th July – 4th August.
